I would love a current-gen Twingo (the quirky rear-engined one!)

I’m a big FIAT fan, so hoping I can get a 500 at some point! :)

Me too haha. I’m hoping they make an RS version. I had a Fiat Panda which is based on the same mechanicals as the 500. It broke a lot.

What engine was in your Panda? If it was the 1.2, I’ve heard that they’re not as reliable...

The 500 was one of the most reliable cars in Germany according to a study a few years back? Most of the issues I’ve heard have been minor niggly stuff (like with Bluetooth, and that sort of stuff), nothing major that renders them unsafe or undrivable at all.

The 1.3 diesel. It had a lot of engine/ turbo issues, maybe down to poor maintenance.

Could be, I’ve heard most of their powerplants are fairly reliable , even the 1.2...I just know I’d read it can have a few common problems.

It fails the shoe test quite badly. I don’t like lowering cars though.

Turbo issues are known of but not super common. I think it was oil supply issues caused by the previous owner not changing the oil or using the wrong grade.
